Welcome to Silicon Valley

Mothers & Sons Serving Together to Impact Their Local Community

Welcome to the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Young Men’s Service League.

The four years of high school go by incredibly fast, and finding time to connect with your teenage son becomes increasingly difficult.  When you become a member of YMSL, you join other moms and young men who are committed to spending quality time together in service of your community.

In these moments, your son sees your generosity and dedication to others outside your immediate circle. You see his eyes and heart open to the world around him. These are incredibly important developmental milestones while you build memories, grow together, and have shared moments of true community impact in service of purposes larger than yourselves.

In addition to service, YMSL offers valuable leadership opportunities and a four-year curriculum that covers such wide-ranging and practical topics as resume building, civic engagement, auto safety and repair, basic cooking skills, and many more.

We hope you will consider joining us. The time to start the membership process is during your son’s 8th-grade year. We look forward to meeting you and serving together.
