Welcome to YMSL Rancho

Mothers & Sons Serving Together to Impact Their Local Community

Welcome to the Rancho Chapter of the Young Men’s Service League!

The four years of high school go by incredibly fast. Finding time to spend together with your teenage son gets harder and harder. When you join YMSL, you commit to spending quality time together with your son serving your community.

In these moments, he sees your dedication to serving others. You see his eyes and heart become open to the world around him. These are memories to last a lifetime and service projects that impact our community forever.

In addition to service, YMSL offers valuable leadership opportunities and a four-year curriculum that covers topics such as civic responsibility, life choices, practical skills, and more. Click HERE to see what happens in a Young Men meeting.

We hope you will consider joining us. The ideal time to start the membership process is during your son’s 8th-grade year. (Some years we are also able to accept a limited number of 9th graders.) We look forward to meeting you and serving together. Please scroll down for more details.

Testimonials

Our favorite philanthropy is gathering produce at the farmers market. We feel overwhelmingly grateful to all the farmers and vendors who pour their hearts into growing things and then share the bounty with the WVCS community.
Andrew, Mitchell, and GraceRancho Chapter, Class of 2025
We are happy we joined YMSL. It provides meaningful volunteering opportunities to get involved with our community. YMSL strengthens our mother-son relationships, and promotes personal growth, team building and educational opportunities for our young men.
MaryRancho Chapter, Classes of 2023 and 2024
YMSL provides a unique opportunity for practicing compassion and developing leadership, in the spirit of community service. These qualities will enrich our lives going forward, and I will cherish my memories of mother-son bonding during our years in YMSL.
