Mothers & Sons Serving Together to Impact Their Local Community

Welcome to the Lake Oswego chapter of the Young Men’s Service League!

The four years of high school go by incredibly fast. Finding time to spend together with your teenage son gets harder and harder. When you join YMSL, you commit to spending quality time together with your son serving your community.

I joined YMSL to spend quality time with my boys in their last years at home. I hadn’t expected to befriend so many amazing women– YMSL is not only a group of bright young men, it is the thoughtful, caring, and inspiring moms who stand beside them!

I had always hoped we’d be a volunteer kind of family – YMSL has given us the framework we needed! I love working alongside my boys – learning together what it means to serve and give back to the community

What an outstanding example of dedication and commitment for these young men. To commit to four years of service and hold positions of leadership within the organization shows what amazing young men these are. I have loved being witness to it.
